Worble7 15 Posted January 18, 2019 Hello Everyone :). My first post here I have a few questions I hope someone can help with. So what I'm trying to do is custom curb address stencils Painting not sure if this is going to work but the idea is good. 1. Will vinyl stick to concrete does anyone know? 2. Thinking of using graphtec ce6000-60 to make address stencils is this a good choice? 3. What software is best to use for beginners? I'm sure I will have a ton more questions in time. Thanks for the help. Jeff
MZ SKEETER 4,708 Posted January 18, 2019 Graphtec already has software, can be found on the Graphtec site. but I use Flexi. Great choice to go with a Graphtec.
Worble7 15 Posted January 18, 2019 MZ SKEETER, What if I buy the cutter used can I still get the software? Is Flexi easy to use for beginners? Do you think the vinyl will stick to concrete to spray a stencil? Thanks Again. Jeff
MZ SKEETER 4,708 Posted January 18, 2019 The software is on the website. You can download it now. Actually some of the Graphtec software are lower end versions of Flexi products. I use a bare bones Flexi products. You can use FREE Signblazer, but it is very old software, Many on here still use it. I wouldn't know about vinyl on concrete. You would have to test it first and have it pretty clean.

slice&dice 2,450 Posted January 18, 2019 Brass stencil set - this is the proper way to do it. $35 will be all you need to spend, Jeff. (plus the cost of spray paint cans). Best Way to paint curbs with Go-Karts!

Best Way to paint curbs with Go-Karts! I'm looking to do some custom stuff like pet breeds and team logos along with color and reflective beads stuff the other guys don't do :) Like this with address numbers in between. Thanks Jeff
slice&dice 2,450 Posted January 19, 2019 "team logos" -- all are copyrighted and you would need written permission to profit from them.
