skulldaddy 0 Posted January 4, 2019 This is becoming very frustrating. I have 2, Titan 2 cutters. This was never an issue before, but as of lately the first one would just stop mid project. I got a second one, it's doing the same on a different computer, different room. I am suspecting static... other than that, no clue. I'm tired of wasting vinyl. Any help to fix this? MZ SKEETER 4,708 Posted January 4, 2019 It may very well be static from the vinyl. Wipe your cutters down with dryer sheets, spray the area with Static cling. Put a dryer sheet into the vinyl roll as well as wipe the vinyl. Run a humidifier.
MZ SKEETER 4,708 Posted January 4, 2019 One way to find out if it is static, is put the pen tool in the blade holder, draw on paper or the back of the vinyl, If the cutter does not stop, then more than likely it was static from the vinyl.
