Dekrahl 2 Posted December 3, 2018 Any ideas why it is doing this? I have adjusted the pressure as high as I can and it still does it. I got hit in the face with it once and it busted my lip and put a dent in the wall behind it... any advice would be appreciated
bikemike 711 Posted December 3, 2018 Over center setting. Should be on the handle near the top platen.

Wildgoose 4,200 Posted December 4, 2018 Post a pic it might help too. Some of the cheaper presses have weak pins and they wear out relatively quickly if not lubed well. If yours are worn it could effect the over center ability to the point it won't allow it to lock again. I have heard of people drilling the pin holes out and installing larger ones to get a tight fit again.
Dekrahl 2 Posted December 19, 2018 I will post a picture tonight. Not sure what over center is?
Dekrahl 2 Posted January 1, 2019 Okay sorry it took a while for me to post pics... I can see on one side of the part that hold the arm to the top plate where it looks like the other end of the bolt thing is missing. Could this be what I am looking for? Any ideas on how to fix? Dakotagrafx 7,297 Posted January 1, 2019 looks like 1/2 of a specialized shoulder bolt is missing - I would call support to see if they have any
Dekrahl 2 Posted January 1, 2019 Well I picked the press up to mow it and found the miss bolt. I am putting it back on now to see if that fixes the issue
