Juli 0 Posted October 5, 2018 Hello, after using a Summa plotter for a few years I have just bought a new Graphtec FC8600-130 (including the option to adjust a second pen). I am now wondering if the sound of the plotter is normal? There is always a very loud hum, when the cutting head is moving (I don't mean the cutting noises). I have read that the Graphtec cutting plotters are very noiseless, but mine is louder than my older Summa plotter .....? Thanks, Juli Graphtec FC8600.mov
MZ SKEETER 4,708 Posted October 5, 2018 my cutters hum... always have. More so when running slow. I have never had a problem 10 years now. It just sounds like the wheels moving in the rail.

MZ SKEETER 4,708 Posted October 5, 2018 I'm sure others will chime in with their little squeeks and noises also. That's a big cutter. Congrats.
