mark-s 1,126 Posted August 20, 2018 Looks like Millhouse, just looking at it. mark-s

tardster 7 Posted August 20, 2018 Nope that isn't it, the "U's" are not the same, thank you though...
Dakotagrafx 7,297 Posted August 20, 2018 probably hard for our resident font guru to figure out from a sideways picture taken so far away - can you get a straight on close up so it can really be examined? If mark can't id it from the poor picture I am betting no one can
tardster 7 Posted August 20, 2018 I have no idea where they took the picture at, I looked at the word trucking and seen that the letter u was different...
dwp99 283 Posted August 20, 2018 It's LGA trucking out of El Paso Texas according to the USDOT number on the truck's fuel tank cover. Give them a call and ask what font they use. (915) 852-2324
tardster 7 Posted August 20, 2018 Thank you dwp99. I called and of course, the person who came up with that design doesn't work there anymore and they have no idea what the font is lol...

I also searched google images and the LGA website but couldn't find a clear straight on photo of the logo.

tardster 7 Posted August 20, 2018 its small but at the top left hand corner I found the logo, maybe this will help...
mark-s 1,126 Posted August 20, 2018 Well it`s hard to see by 2 in x 2 in crappy little webernet image. Look at Serpentine it has a U shaped like that. I do know LGA is Air Millhouse. If you have permisson to do that work, call the and request the file, they should have that on file no matter who designed it. mark-s
slice&dice 2,450 Posted August 20, 2018 The 'A' is the key to this. In any case, you're gonna have to do some node editing, obviously. Friz Quadrata is what I would use for the 'A' as a basis to get this design done, along with Air Millhouse for the 'G' and 'L'
mark-s 1,126 Posted August 20, 2018 Air Millhouse is the font for LGA "A" was flipped horizontally. mark-s
tardster 7 Posted August 20, 2018 Mark, why is the "A" in LGA different from the picture if its Air Millhouse?
tardster 7 Posted August 20, 2018 Ah ok that makes sense Mark, thank you for the help
slice&dice 2,450 Posted August 20, 2018 I kinda have to disagree with Mark on this one. Friz quadrata "A" with some node editing. The other two letters (L and G) are indeed AirMillhouse, with the obvious alterations in the logo. Hey, graphic designers do this sometimes, putting different fonts together to make a logo. mark-s 1,126 Posted August 20, 2018 TRUCKING is Serpentine. mark-s
skarekrow 1,842 Posted August 20, 2018 Right Mark but, just as likely it all was made from the Serpentine Font. Check the Details in the G, the A, and the C.
slice&dice 2,450 Posted August 21, 2018 Uh, skarekrow seems to have hit the nail on the head! Serpentine Bold Oblique Boom.
