I recently purchased the MH 871-mk2 cutter. It was cutting nothing but squiggly lines. Tech support sent me a new motherboard and that didnt fix the problem either. Im using windows 8 on an HP laptop. VinylMaster Cut V4.0. I need help!

MH series seem to have more problems than any others. My suggestion although you won't like it is to carefully release your pinch rollers, pull that paper out, roll the cutter to the side and roll in a new Graphtec CE6000 and re-insert the paper. :P I crack myself up.

On a serious note double check the baud rate and the driver set in VM to be sure you are running the correct machine. You probably already went through all that with tech support but sometimes it's something simple that everyone assumes was already checked. Not cool to have a new toy only to find it won't work.
