871 cutting design larger then they are

So I went to cut a strip on my 871.  it was 19.25 long in the program.  After cutting it it was 19.5 inches long and was a little taller then designed.  What is going on?  on cut preview it shows the correct size

What program you using? Some place in it should be a calibration setting to correct scaling issues like this.
