Sherrylb 0 Posted May 2, 2018 I have a Sign warehouse vinyl express R SeriesII. My computer says it has an out of date usb controller and to use the 2.0 usb. I have tried all of my USB ports to no avail. I have no open vga ports to use the vga cable. Anyone have any suggestions? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Dakotagrafx 7,297 Posted May 2, 2018 the other port is most likely a serial port as a vga port is for a monitor but looks similar. the usb 1.0 should work fine after you install the usb chipset driver that SW supplied with the plotter. if you want to use a stronger connection you could use the serial cable that came with your plotter along with a tripplite brand keyspan adapter as they have proven very stable on most cutters Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
