Scarpen769 0 Posted September 29, 2017 Has anyone else been having trouble with Oracal 631 releasing from the backing paper? Using Ora tape HT 55 transfer tape and recently have had trouble with the transfer tape not pulling the vinyl off the backing paper. Any advice would be helpful. MZ SKEETER 4,709 Posted September 29, 2017 Agree, I actually write that on my decals. Do not lift decal from backing, Peel backing away from decal. I put it at the top of my instructions and circle it in BLACK sharpie. It is very important and makes a huge difference. It does not matter what type of vinyl. You will actually lift the backing paper off with the decal, and it will be stuck to your decal, when you lift it like that. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
