Identify plotter

Hey. 

 

I bought this second hand without a driver, Its a china plotter theres no stickers with a modelname.

Do anyone here know brand/model or wich driver that could make it function?.

What software are you going to run it with? Many of the Chinese cutters will run on some of the generic drivers. There is sometimes a little placard on the back or bottom with a little more info. That looks similar to ones built by Seiki that I have seen.

No sticker or anything that indicates what model it is.

I have joycut, artcut. Im using a USB converter to connect the plotter with Windows xp.  

I tried the generic drivers in Artcut but no luck so far

We don't see much about the artcut software on the forum What we do see is it is known to pretty much suck. Good luck. You might try the free trial of SignCut Pro or Vinyl Master or one of the other several well known options out there.

I could be wrong but does this cutter require that special triplite plug( Or whatever its called)  since they mentioned they are using a USB converter?

Sorry should have been more specific, Its a serial converter.

Yeah i agree, Its pretty bad but it seemed like the only program the China plotters come with.  

Yeah ill try one of those.
