M&M Ranch 0 Posted April 4, 2017 I am applying letters to a wood sign that is slightly rough, worried about the letters sticking. Wondering if anyone had recommendations, do I apply a layer of something like mod podge before adhering the letters or after??
dcbevins 340 Posted April 4, 2017 Many types of wood the vinyl just won't stick. Sometimes it sorta sticks, good enough if its not likely to get any kind of contact that will take it off. Maybe you could put some polyurethane or something down. I have never tried with mod podge but polyurethane surfaces hold vinyl well.
