mikeybgoode 0 Posted February 28, 2017 hello Ive done a search for this didnt find it hope Im posting ok. i would like to know if there is a program out there that would let me use my plotter to cut patterns for auto upholstery. how are they? any recommendations? Wildgoose 4,200 Posted February 28, 2017 Hm,,. Going to be tough due to needing a carrier sheet. Now as far as drawing something out with a pen attachment I think you could do that pretty easily onto paper that is thick enough to feed well. You will still need to be able to design the vector file to the correct dimensions. I think I watched a video on a laser flatbed cutter that burned around patterns. signyouup 178 Posted March 1, 2017 For a single use pattern use vinyl. Cut, weed and apply transfer tape. Then apply it to the fabric or the fabric to the vinyl/transfer tape(whichever works best) and cut along the edges of the vinyl. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
