How is this made? CNC Router?

I am curious (if anyone knows).  Seen this on Pintrest and thought it was really nice.  I do custom hand-routed signs that look pretty good.  But these are accurate.  I am new to the CNC Router and have been researching for weeks.  I am going to eventually splurge for a one, but was wondering if it can do signs like the attached picture.

Well, this is a year and a half too late but that was likely made on a CarveWright. If you look closely there are vertical lines in the recess of the carve, mine do the same.

I still say was done on a CNC Machine looks to big to have been done  on a carvewright.

I own a carvewright and a CNC Machine.

Besides a carvewright isn`t that accurate.

Bit of a learning curve, but totally worth it.

So much fun.

Good challenge for the mind and art skills.

I have a plasma cutter. so have been looking n to getting  a table set up for it.  as i get n to this more, it def has me wanting a cnc router set up. not familiar with a carvewright, so hitting up google now

carvewright is like a elementary cnc machine.

I found one on cragslist for $100.00, couldn`t pass it up.

Shortly after, a friend and I built a 4X4 real CNC Machine.

Haven`t  looked back.

I know this is an old topic, but if you look at the grain on the Becker it does not match the back panel. It’s layered, and I’d say was cut on a laser.

Must be me, on the big monitor I think I see the grain flowing thru both the same  :/

Agreed. There is a depth to it and grain changes with depth. Looks right to me.

No way it's done on a laser.    It's made with a CNC and a V-bit.    

there's no way a laser can create that much of a ramp on the letters.

You Absolutely can, I do it on a regular basis with led panels and signage on a Trotec speedy 400 flexx

I'm going to go with CNC router. Below the two birds is scroll work that meets the bottom rail. I see bit radius results there. Looks like an end mill bit for the field with a large pocket operation. At least, that's how I would do it. A V-Carve bit as a profile around letters, then.

 

  Could have even then used a laser for the darker accents, but I would have just stained it.
