Trying to transfer cut letters to vinyl to make a bumper-sticker, the transfer tape is sticking too much and causing the base layer to stretch and wrinkle. I'm using Vector Gloss (cast) for both the letters and base, that I bought from Beacon Graphics, because I was in a hurry. And Main Tape Preview +. Any pointers appreciated. Thanks. Wildgoose 4,200 Posted January 15, 2017 Since it is cut vinyl rather than a "sticker" it works best to leave the transfer paper on until final placement. transfer the words over to the base and make the paper large enough that it cover the base area too and then just leave it on there.
