mcmahan 0 Posted January 15, 2017 I have a MH 721-MK2 vinyl cutter and my laptop now runs Windows 7 and it keeps telling me I have to upgrade the USB driver before the software will detect the cutter. So that being said I have downloaded the driver file from the UScutter website like 50 times and the computer says it cannot find the file or it can't download it. I NEED my cutter up and going I have people waiting on stuff and I can't get the thing to work someone please help.
MZ SKEETER 4,708 Posted January 15, 2017 See if anything here works.. Or look online for more options of how to upgrade drivers in Windows 7. I am not trying to sell Driver Easy. https://www.drivereasy.com/knowledge/how-to-manually-install-a-driver-in-windows-7/
slice&dice 2,450 Posted January 15, 2017 Download and install this software -- http://www.uscuttersupport.com/downloads/Software/SignBlazer/signblazer_setup.exe and this is the CDM 20828 driver http://www.uscuttersupport.com/downloads/Drivers/cdm20828_setup_windows.exe If you still cannot get the cutter to respond, then you have a WINDOWS troubleshooting problem, not a cutter problem. darcshadow 1,625 Posted January 16, 2017 What software are you using that says it needs the driver updated? Give Signblazer a try, it works well with the MH. Could also try using the Serial port rather than USB.
