DeonCarpenter 0 Posted August 31, 2016 I decided to buy a GraphTec ce6000-40. The ce6000 cuts great but it won't cut chrome even with a new blade on its highest setting and the blade extended. I have used a Copam 2500 for years and it cuts chrome like it was butter. Any advice on cutting chrome with the ce6000 would be appreciated. I am using SignBlazer 6.0 software. Dakotagrafx 7,297 Posted August 31, 2016 I cut chrome with mine this week - fdc coburn - just adjust the blade and pressure and no problem here
mark-s 1,126 Posted August 31, 2016 I use a different holder and blade set just for chrome and reflective. mark-s
Dakotagrafx 7,297 Posted August 31, 2016 I do the same as mark - I actually use the clean cut blade I take out on of the regular vinyl holder and use that as chrome and reflective are so hard on blades and you generally don't do as fine of detail with it
