arcticmonster 4 Posted August 22, 2016 I am just a hobby vinyl cutter for some of my own stuff. I have a SC34 and Corel X3. What is the cheapest way for me to be able to cut my designs without purchasing SIGNCUT. I have tried Signblazer elements, but anything I import gets distorted. Vinyl Master is a cheaper alternative, would that work better? Thanks.
Sue2 920 Posted August 22, 2016 I like VM Cut...it works/feels similar to Corel. BUT, I create in Corel and import the eps file into VM for cutting. Previously I used SignBlazer for cutting and still have it on one computer. Sue2
arcticmonster 4 Posted August 22, 2016 What did you export as from Corel to be able to use in Signblazer? I will most likely get VinylMaster. thanks.
Sue2 920 Posted August 22, 2016 Convert all text to curves & export/save as eps. eps files should work in most cutting programs. Sue2

knucklehead 530 Posted September 2, 2016 Back in the days, before 200 dollar vinyl cutters, we used to use single edge razor blades/ X-Atco knifes, to cut paint mask, and stuff. Pretty cheap.
