Looking For A Quick Way To Add Controur Cut Lines To A Specific Area?

I'm using VM Pro, and had a job I just performed that had outlining effects simply added to text. I went to generate the contour cut lines, and found the inside of two of the letters weren't going to be cut out. If I selected the "Keep Holes Option" I found that the contour cut feature then included cutting the outline effect part of the image that was white which I didn't want done as the white outline was meant to be included in the image.

The text was a group of words not individual characters just to be clear.

Is there a way to trace a specific character, or shape quickly to add a contour cut line? I ended up tracing the characters for the specific cut manually which is time consuming.

You can break text by word and character from the Text (menu).

You can also convert the text to curves, ungroup it and then select individual characters to contour cut.
