kainth.c.s 53 Posted June 1, 2016 Hello pals!! Please find some vector files enclosed as pdfs for everyone to use. If anyone has got any vector files like symbols for somje cafe items like burgers, pizzas, some writeups we commonly use, some emblems logos or insignias, please share them Cheers C.SIngh +61426141448 magnolia1.pdf monaro2.pdf eagle5=.pdf flying eagle.pdf Butterflies.pdf eagle 2.pdf
slice&dice 2,450 Posted June 1, 2016 These are all wire-frame items, which are rarely used in vinyl cutting. When I use a graphic in a sign design, it's best to have a silhouette. Like THIS ---
gwynyr 13 Posted June 1, 2016 For anyone who's wondering; the files just have an outline instead of a fill, they are not "wireframe". They will cut fine.
darcshadow 1,626 Posted June 1, 2016 Grabbed them, thanks.
Dawn's Design 403 Posted June 2, 2016 I have to agree with slice. I would rather work with a silhouette.
kainth.c.s 53 Posted June 2, 2016 slice&dice Dawn's Designs LLC Buddy these are outlined files saved as pdf after cleaning them in CAD. They will cut perfectly fine when you carry these profiles on to the plotter. Being Polylines, it won't make the cutter to cut a part of one shape then jump to others and then come back for completing the shape. Thanks to all buddy. If anyone has got any symbol files to share, please do
gwynyr 13 Posted June 3, 2016 cutters are basically just cnc machines that read the outlines of shapes, cutters do not care if it is filled or not. If it bothers you, just open the file in illustrator or inkscape and flip the outline/fill options.
kainth.c.s 53 Posted June 4, 2016 gwynyr I fully agree with you buddy. But with the machine I have, it posed a problem. Say we want to cut a letter O, if it hasbeen made by a number of arcs and fed to the cutter in exploded form, the cutter used to cut randomly, however, if I joined these arcs so as the shape becomes a polyline(all arcs get selected by clicking anywhere on the profile) the cutter used to start and finish the shape orderly. I am using creation pcut ct0630, with flexi sign 10 (basic) regards C.S.Kainth
Bertie 5 Posted June 7, 2016 These are silhouettes, why are some of you folks thinking they are wire frame?
Wildgoose 4,200 Posted June 7, 2016 They do appear to be wire frame when opened but there's nothing wrong with them. Perfectly usable. Just the appearance setting as a light outline rather than a filled object but it shouldn't effect the performance.
signyouup 178 Posted June 7, 2016 Brought them into Inkscape and picked a fill color and killed the outline and they work great.

Like THIS --- Just for clarification; 'Wireframes' are ALWAYS used in vinyl cutting (with a plotter). They are just most often filled with color, like in your silhouette example. That frame is what the cutter actually follows. The Nodes and Paths in a vector image ARE the 'Wireframe"
FrznFire07 217 Posted June 7, 2016 I love how some are being picky when this generous guy is giving out free clipart. My thanks to Kainth C.S. and everyone else who is generous enough to give out their art.

kainth.c.s 53 Posted June 9, 2016 Thanks a lot guys.. these files do work without a problem with a plotter. I also think if we fill them up with colours, because of a thin outline, the pixels shouldn't faqde when we scale the filled up file bigger. Please correct me if I am wrong
