Blade wont lower

Sooooo...I hit cut from my computer and my blade won't lower. When I do the test cut off the cutter, the blade lowers and cuts fine.

I'm using an LP2 with SCALP.

** I used the cutter last night to do a softball jersey and I had no problems. This morning I do. What could have gone wrong?

Sounds like some sort of connection issue if the test cut still works

did you try cutting with signblazer to troubleshoot ?

Yes, I unplugged everything and restarted everything as well. Turns out, somehow, the settings in the scalp was changed. I had to change it back to using the usb.

Ok something is up again. The settings are correct and blade wont lower even when i set the origin. It use to lower before when i set the origin. It also wont cut when I hit cut.

What can possibly be wrong?

try a different software.  Sign cut   vinyl master.  signblazer. and see if the problem goes away.  Possibly scalp is the problem.

@stickit - I only have scalp. Are any of those you mentioned free software?

sign cut free 1 week trial    vinyl master free 30 days.  signblazer free all the time.
