busterbay 326 Posted April 30, 2016 Well if you sell online you know less than 1% of the customers can be less than upstanding citizens . I have been hit with this scam twice. A person buys something on eBay realizes there is a No return policy so they file a "Non Authorized" charge with their credit card company. Which amounts to fraud if they get caught but hey criminals are not the sharpest pencil in the box. Even if you win you are still out the settlement fee the CC company charges PayPal for disputing the charge. If you lose you are out the original cost plus this fee. Kind of a raw deal because they get your product for free PLUS you have to pay the CC company for the scam. Instead of Caveat Emptor it should say Caveat venditor.
