gcextreme 475 Posted April 4, 2016 Ive got a customer that wants a design onto this Airflux shirt. I don't have a clue what material this is...doesn't say cotton or polyester anywhere... Will HTV work on this and whats the best heat/time settings?
dcbevins 340 Posted April 4, 2016 I'd guess it is %100 polyester form the look. If it says "performance" or "moisture wicking" that would tend to support it being polyester. The heat and pressure depend on the brand and type of HTV you have. Siser easyweed is 302°F, 10-15 seconds, medium pressure. I imagine it will work with htv just fine. Go-C Graphics 856 Posted April 4, 2016 Sometimes shirts like that also have Spandex in them.
Topper 61 Posted April 4, 2016 Be honest and tell the customer you aren't sure if it'll work. Tell them if you try and fail you won't charge them. They are just out a shirt and you are out some htv. Just my two cents...
