Help with my graphtec ce 5000-60

Recommended Posts

How about your teflon cutting strip?  Is it nice and smooth with no gouges and scratches?  Maybe try putting a strip of low tack vinyl over it, and check your cutting again.,  and yes, I would think that those mishaps could cause some damage of the carriage head, Especially at the speeds you run at. Make sure there is no dust or debris in the rail that the carriage head wheels slides in. Look around the carriage head for cracks, around the part that holds the blade holder, Or any cracks in the carriage head it's self.  Make sure each of your grit rollers are tight,  It looks like each of mine have a set screw to keep them tight.

Graphtec tech support, should be contacted.
