Help with transfering my designs

Recommended Posts

I want to get a new computer. I have the Signblazer program on this one and want to save/transfer all

my designs to my new computer. Is it even possible? If so, how do I go about it? Thank you

Get yourself an external hard drive? Or depending how many designs you have put them on flash drive. Or google transferring files from one computer to another

You don't have to "add" the files, you can just "open" them if an .sbd file and "import" if an .eps file the same way you have always done.

The old files are in a folder on your C;Drive-  called SBD files. copy them to your new computer C drive

It is very important,if you have any type of business, or if these files are important to you, that they should have already been backed up some where else..Some where off of your computer, I have mine on external hard drive and saved to email drafts,So I can access them on any computer.

Yup lost a hard drive over a year ago and still recovering. I will never make that mistake again.

I use a program called Allsync.

I keep a 128gb flash drive in my computer and it always keeps the folders on my computer and jump drive synced.

It also syncs my same project and graphics folder with dropbox.

It's a pretty cool program and works great.

The advantage is I have 1 master folder I work from and it's automatically synced to other places as backups.
