J Riedel 0 Posted January 29, 2016 I have a SC 24in cutter it just started when cutting a shape for example a circle the cut does not meet up to make a perfect circle and meet up. It is off just a bit so you have to manually finish the cut. Any ideas what I should look for? Thank you for your time.
Cal 393 Posted January 29, 2016 Welcome aboard J - From your pic it looks like the offset might need tweeking. Also, be sure to unroll the vinyl before cutting so that you are not pulling directly from a tight roll. I just advance the vinyl through the cutter a little more than I will need and then send it back so that it is loosely wound on the roll. Use your pen to get your setup correct so that you do not waste vinyl while getting your settings correct. Good luck with it. What blade are you using, how did you set the blade depth, what speed are you cutting at, what is your blade pressure set at? Cal
ddgraphix 0 Posted February 5, 2016 I have had this problem and I followed the advice Cal from the post above. Thanks
essmeier 0 Posted April 18, 2016 It's worth noting that X and Y adjustments in settings will vary depending on whether you're cutting vinyl or using a pen on paper. I discovered that the hard way. Charlie
