Molan_Labe 38 Posted January 16, 2016 Looks nice, Just one question. its hard to tell in the picture, did you cut the vinyl around all the rivets or is the vinyl not sealed down tight to them.
Rip_frannie 47 Posted January 16, 2016 I actually backed them out and slightly tightened over them

mudeater18 6 Posted January 21, 2016 Looks good. Are you using Windex as a application fluid? Does that work? Never tried it. Sure would save money if it worked.
JPvinyl 60 Posted January 21, 2016 Winded contains ammonia. Ammonia contains the devil. I would never suggest windex as s surface prep or install solution.

Rip_frannie 47 Posted January 29, 2016 I wiped some heavy grime off with the windex, let it dry , soaped it (mix of dawn and water) and scrubbed it, let it dry and scrubbed it clean. When I laid it I soaked the part I was doing in the soap -water mix , laid it and moved it where I needed it. It was really hot that day so it was drying quick. After it was where I needed it, I squeegeed it let it dry and peeled the transfer tape off. He was really happy with the results.
Molan_Labe 38 Posted January 30, 2016 I never laid any vinyl wet, I do all dry installs that's how I was taught.
