arty-rc 719 Posted January 6, 2016 It will look faded and dull but when you sub and heat it, it should look much better.
Macon Innovations 228 Posted January 6, 2016 That's how it will look until applied to the substrate....

Macon Innovations 228 Posted January 7, 2016 And make sure you print on the brighter side of the paper
Signs and Designs 17 Posted January 7, 2016 Printing on what side of the paper is not a problem since there is writing on the back side. I did a test mug came out very light, is there somewhere where I can download a cheat sheet on time and temperatures.
Macon Innovations 228 Posted January 7, 2016 Not really.....I have good luck at 400 degrees and 60 seconds.....I've seen other people post all kinds of different times and close Temps...And you have to make sure you have enough pressure also
mfatty500 454 Posted January 7, 2016 Are you using a mug that is properly coated for sublimation?

Macon Innovations 228 Posted January 7, 2016 Mr300 , do you use a press or a wrap? I get great results at 1 minute.....Now you have me wondering.....Next time I make a mug I'm going to try for a longer time and see what happens

That's close to where I'm set at with my press. If the paper is just starting to brown that is how I set mine up and it works fine that way.
mr300s 1,272 Posted January 8, 2016 Also if you have a way to check that the temp is what it says it is wont hurt either, some of the cheaper pressers can be off by a lot
GraphxNMore 282 Posted January 8, 2016 The mugs I get from Conde work best for me at 390° for 225 seconds.
MadHatterGraphix 1,258 Posted January 9, 2016 15 min with the wrap 12 min with the wrap here for ceramic and I believe the poly was that also.
