will this printer work for vinyl?

I would see what is available for 24" solvent media. 54" & 60" rolls can always be slit, but it may cost you extra. Some do it for free and others charge. USC charges $18 per slit. I think solvent ink can be used on 24" aqueous coated material also, but I'm not 100% sure.. Someone else will chime in on that.

if you print on the aqueous material you have the coating on it that makes it accept water based ink - the notorious weak link in the chain - kind of negates the reason to have a solvent printer

ok. I understand and will be making a decision at some point soon, I will jump over and make a new post about printing costs and how to calculate it,, Thanks everyone
