j.ldesigns 5 Posted November 20, 2015 Anyone out there have one/ thoughts, good, bad, ugly. Im looking into one. I know your probably like get a 54 ect, and I would love to if space and extra funds allowed. Ive looked into the bn-20 and mutoh 628x just for its option of white ink printing as for my main thing to market would be printed vehicle magnets, truck perf for rear windows and small full color fridge magnets that I would cut on a hand cutter once the vinyl was placed or print direct to the material. Dakotagrafx 7,297 Posted November 20, 2015 we have had some very positive feedback from a couple members on the mutoh - I think the general feeling I get on them is plan to use it and throw it away in a few years as they have not proven to be as long lasting as the mimiki or roland printers - you can also still get new parts for roland printes that are 7-8 years old - don't think that is the case with the mutoh's but if your plan is to make the money to use it up and throw it away it is a value. I remember when I was first getting a printer over 6 years ago - several people were trying to get parts to refurb some 4+ year old mutoh rock hoppers and not doing very well on that front - I bought an old roland and got everything I needed to make it like new (an old fj540 I think it was) , but again if it is to make the money now get it and run the devil out of it. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Dakotagrafx 7,297 Posted November 27, 2015 sold a sp300v and got a sp300i - used but i am my own tech after owning 3 printers - so used doesn't bother me. 99 percent of the used have some issues but I found one with less than 50 hrs of print time on it. gotta love the people that have to have a printer! god bless them all 2 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
