Fyrfyghtr 5 Posted October 28, 2015 I have a laserpoint 2 24", Using SCAL3. I have a cut I need to make that is 23" by 7'. What is the best way to ensure that my alignment is spot on. Is there a way to send an advance command to the cutter to advance the vinyl to check it.
skener 11 Posted November 5, 2015 Hi i assume by alignment you are talking about the tracking of the vinyl? If this is the case i don't think there is , can only suggest running vinyl through and making sure it don't "creep" to one side, however i may be wrong and someone else can advise you better. Fyrfyghtr 5 Posted November 7, 2015 I can only advance the vinyl by pulling it. Is there a way the computer can tell the cutter to advance several feet to check.
Tenfour86 41 Posted November 7, 2015 You should be able to just take it offline and advance your vinyl through using the arrow keys just like you would to set the origin for a cut.
