LPWash 75 Posted October 21, 2015 I'm using SCAL Pro. The image looks fine with a dark image on a light shirt. But I want to use a white image on dark shirts. How can I take this same image and make it work in SCAL ? Any ideas?
KYSIGN 233 Posted October 21, 2015 You can put a contour/outline around the design and subtract the design from the outline. This should create an inverse image.
LPWash 75 Posted October 21, 2015 Thank you so much. The part that got me was I wasn't making my outline quite big enough and all it was doing was giving me what appeared to be two cut lines. I just made the outline bigger which made it more prominent. Thank you. That was really messing with me.
Sue2 920 Posted October 21, 2015 That little "graphic problem" has come up a couple of times here. I too had to make two different logos one for light shirts and one for dark. You don't always think about it until you look close and realize "that looks funny!" Now I try to test it on screen FIRST before cutting anything. Wildgoose 4,200 Posted October 21, 2015 Unfortunately it also creates a lot more weeding. Cool lion graphic though
MadHatterGraphix 1,258 Posted October 21, 2015 Very cool lion, but this is why some should invest in other programs link inkscape, Corel Draw or Adobe Illustrator Making mock ups are a lot easier and clean all the time.
