Quick as it came in, it went right out with the shifting winds.

It's as if the whole idea of providing the program upgrade to all users of USCUTTER-version plotter machines just went POOF.

New cutter owners are having the software "bundled" but there's no retail purchase option currently.

I know one thing ---  I am extremely grateful to have VinylMasterCUT running and providing my MH unit with plenty of jobs. It originally loaded instantly into my newly-acquired Win7 computer and connects with a native serial port like a dream. This is my new work pony.

Run on modern computers smoothly.

I still haven't heard of a pc that signblazer wasn't able to run on. Jerry built a very stable program but compared to vinyl master it just feels clunky and vinyl master just seems more intuitive to learn at least for me.

I think its wrong to raise the cost so soon or at all.. I checked out SBE and i seriuosly couldnt figure it out lol... I use Ai and scalps4 . And Scalps was a piece of cake to understand .I just dont like a couple things it cant do, but i make up for it in Ai..To me SBE was just to "windows 3.0"  to me lol.So now im curious if vinylmaster cut is even better or as easy to work in compaired to Scalps.

What can Vinyl Master (Basic) do that Signblazer Elements doesn't do???

That is an excellent question.

I have to say, I still find myself working on the old Dell laptop with WinXP and SBE.

I dunno, my inclination is to stick within the 'cartoon-y' environment of SBE.

It has the feel of a kids' program !!! Which, for me, is just fine.

I look upon sign making as an advanced Arts-&-Crafts class in junior high school.

Oh, the major thing SignBlazer cannot handle is OpenType fonts.

Not that I run across many projects that demand such a typeface, but now and then, I do.

Damn it.....

I was just getting an order together so I can buy the VM software at the same time.

You might want to call the Sales Department and see if they can pop a card, with a registration code for the download, into your order

Where, where, are you tonight?

Why did you leave me here all alone?

I searched the world over,

And thought I found true love.

You met another and

Phht! you were gone
