Craft Robo Pro losing its bearings and shooting off the end of A3

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I'm a noob to this forum but have had my CR Pro several years with very few problems.

For background, I recently I went from Win 7 to Win 10 and updated all the drivers, plug-ins etc.

I am using Illustrator CS6 and Cutting Master 3.

The problem started tonight when I was cutting on an image of 350 x 250 mm on A3 paper on a carrier sheet bigger than than A3.

Cutting proceeded as normal but when it got some 2/3 through the design around the upper third of the paper, it suddenly went back to the cut origin and proceeded to score up and down (orienting itself?) obviously ruining the cut.

There are no odd nodes outside of the main design (have checked) and the full design appears within the preview window in Cutting Master so no problems there.

Have tried looking for a trouble shooting guide and found the CR Pro manual but can't find any information.

Has anybody had this happen to them and can anybody help please?

Thanks

Hel

Many are finding that their cutters are not working with Windows 10,  that may be your problem.  Either find another computer with a system lower than windows 10,  or roll your computer back.
