Blade replacement

Recommended Posts

With any vinyl cutter blade,  when it gets dull. or damaged..  I use my blades over 9 months and cut almost every day.  I mostly cut  regular vinyl and some chrome.

Also depends on blade quality. The cheap ones will not last as long. Like Skeeter I get 7-10 months sometimes I just change them because I think they MUST be getting tired. If they were still cutting good then I keep them to use on high wear products like glitter.

I started using these blades a few months ago based on your recommendation Mz SKEETER. They last longer than the other eBay blades I was using. They seem to be made from a harder steel and are comparable to a higher priced alternative that I won't name.

The $2 eBay blades I was using were actually decent blades but the softer metal would eventually bend from the abuse. The blade would remain sharp but the tip would bend enough that lines didn't meet perfectly. I'm still using my first Seikitech blade and would probably be on blade 3 of the cheaper blades by now. They are a real value.

I'm glad you liked them...I have never seen a reason to change.. My family and I have 3 Graphtecs all running the Seikitech blades.
