bradqr1954 6 Posted June 25, 2015 I have a customer looking for numbers for a drag racing racecar. He wants static clings to go on the inside of the windows. I have the design just about finished. Does anyone on here print onto this material? Thanks Brad

Dakotagrafx 7,297 Posted June 26, 2015 I do print on white static cling but that would work on the outside only, without a printer that prints white ink they would look very washed out printed on clear
Macon Innovations 228 Posted June 26, 2015 You couldn't mirror it and stick it from the inside?
Dakotagrafx 7,297 Posted June 26, 2015 printer inks do not have the solids that offset inkk does etc, so it is far more transparent when it doesn't have the white to reflect off ofhere is the exact same image on white and on clear - you chose

signyouup 178 Posted June 26, 2015 Does a "Static Cling" cling to a "Static Cling"? Lay a white one over the back of a clear one?
MrMopar64 47 Posted October 10, 2015 How heavy of a static cling can I cut on a Graphtec 6000 I can only find 8mm Thanks in advance MM64
pshawny 410 Posted October 10, 2015 I'm sure you meant 8mil and not 8mm. I've cut a lot of 8mil chalk vinyl with the Graphtec with no issues. Just use a sharp 60 degree blade and run some test cuts to get the pressure dialed in. I use a speed of 20 and force of 29 with the blade sticking out the same as with regular vinyl.
