USCutter SC Series Issue Out of Box

Took the cutter out of the box, placed on stand, plugged in, turned on, carriage shifts all the way to the right and then just beeps. 

 

Exactly like this video...

 

 

Is this something I can fix or do I need to return?

not sure this has anything to do with it but the carriage looks like it is cockeyed - is it fully on the track with all wheels?  seems like the sc had some microswitch on one end or the other of the back that was also causing fits but first thing I would find out why the carriage looks like that

that is not their video..  That video was posted 2012..they are saying similar.problem,  same machine ..several people answered their question below it....Stop switch...  But their carriage head could also be out of the track to cause that problem...
