FTvinylarts 0 Posted April 17, 2015 I'm finding that my decals are consistently between 1/4 inch and 1/2 too big! If i send a job to the cutter that is 45 inches long, it will come out at about 45.6 inches long.. if I send a job thats 15 inches long, it will come out at about 15.3 inches long.. so the disproportion is dependent on the size of the decal i'm cutting. Is there a way to calibrate either the cutter (us cutter sc series) or Calibrate Sure cuts a lot pro??? THANKS! -Carson

rpmrpm 32 Posted April 17, 2015 In SCALP Open Cutter tab then Cutter settings and lower the resolution by trial and error. I cut a .250 tall 12" wide sample and adjust till it cuts exact. My machine takes .985 for X&Y.
Cal 393 Posted April 18, 2015 That's right, on my SC cutter I had to change the X & Y both to 98 also. C
