Thanks for the art work!  I use Grimco and best blanks for my small metal sign blanks.  What is that sign size in the photo?  Approx 12 x 18?

Metalcraft Industries. Have to make an account, to get the good prices.

All for something like that. Wounded Warriors, are OK with using their name, and logo?

Not that I'm against it, but don't handicap spots already cover that?

Just because your wounded doesn't mean your handicapped...

I am not a big fan of the project  as they were against firearms at one point.

Anything for our vets but wounded warrior being anti second ammendment trumps that for me. Love the idea of preferred parking for anyone who risked their life for our freedom.

Yeah, I set it up for 12 x 18"

It's real easy to remove the URL for the Wounded Warrior Project and replace it with a different organization.  I didn't know about their 2nd Amendment issues or I wouldn't have included their specific URL.

Not to take away from the project they are all still Hero's in my book.  I just didn't like what the CEO did and for that the Vets shouldn't take the hit...

Ours is Copyright I have limited use on certain items myself the phone cases being one of them ...

I was informed of this by several friends that are vets. In one instance a gun range one of them was a member of donated some money to them and the check was returned with a note saying they wouldn't not accept the money from anybody related to the firearms industry.

I think the bottom line is really about the wounded vet.... not the organization.  The idea is to help the vet not the organization.  A wounded vet is a wounded vet.  My 2 cents.  Just leave the web address off so you don't drive people to the site.

The 'Wounded Warriors', didn't rank too high on the list of charities, on the article on TV, a couple months ago. That's really sad!

Oh, I thought they were only for severely wounded. But you touched on another aspect of it. It seems odd to have a reserved parking place for a specific charity instead of "veterans parking" or something like that. It would be like putting up "American Association of People with Disabilities" parking instead of regular disabled parking spots.

The original sign just said "Wounded Warrior" - I added the URL for the specific charity, but only because I didn't know they were anti-gun.  The wording could be easily changed to "Wounded Service Member" or something more generic.

As several of us had said ,  a vet is a vet ,  doesn't matter what organization he or she belongs to, they are all Hero's,   so that others may enjoy the freedom we have in this county.  Look at the unbelievable acts that occur in other countries.

I am sure there is really no enforcement either of those signs  (No WW police) however it is a awesome idea.   if you can convince the store owners to place one in there lot.  It makes awareness along with giving back a little,   great idea,   Maybe it could just say Combat Veteran parking, Just because someone stepped out of the way of that bullet they still went through what we all did minus the 18 months I spent in the hospital...
