kkeeble 64 Posted March 31, 2015 the wife is looking at and 8 in 1 heat press.. my question is what kind of material can or can not heat press with regular printer ink. ie can you print from a regular inkjet printer on a heat transfer paper and press it to what....mugs, t-shirts, hats, bags... Thank you
jaybyrd 3,770 Posted March 31, 2015 Heat transfer paper is good for shirts, bags and similar textiles. When you start talking about mugs, tiles, key chains, etc. You need you search dye sublimation or as most call it dye sub.

djque 246 Posted March 31, 2015 Stay fast away from those 8 & 1 heat press. Once the press goes bad all 8 go bad meaning a end to your business
djque 246 Posted March 31, 2015 Also look up sublimation
Dakotagrafx 7,297 Posted March 31, 2015 the general consensus is a press that tries to do all things does none of them well. get a good shirt press then if you want add a hat press - as far as mug presses - you couldn't give me one after trying about 7-8 of them
