Wildgoose 4,200 Posted March 31, 2015 Technically he's still right. If you will notice that font does not have numbers or small caps which means it was custom made just like he said. Ha ha ha!
Go-C Graphics 856 Posted March 31, 2015 custom made mark-s It's all in how you word it. Technically he's right. Every font is custom made. If it's not custom made then it's nothing more then a copy.
GraphxNMore 282 Posted April 2, 2015 Technically he's still right. If you will notice that font does not have numbers or small caps which means it was custom made just like he said. Ha ha ha! But if you look at the image posted, there's neither lowercase nor numbers.......
skarekrow 1,842 Posted April 2, 2015 Just for clarity (not addressing your point, easy), "Lower case" is not the same thing as "Small Caps". The posted example does contain Small Caps (though it would appear they were custom made).
GraphxNMore 282 Posted April 2, 2015 But are they small caps or just resized?

skarekrow 1,842 Posted April 2, 2015 Small caps are uppercase letterforms that are shorter in height than the capitals in a given typeface. When designed as part of a text face, they are most often the height of the lowercase (or very slightly taller), so that they harmonize with both the caps and the lowercase characters. There's little difference between the 2 besides convenience, easy.
