ATV plastics...

Recommended Posts

Ok guys, i just bought a set of black and red plastics for my raptor 660r.

My ultimate goal here is to have my Raptor and my Ranger truck match.

Here are the plastics.

And here is my Red truck with black accents...

So my goal is to have the raptor BLACK with RED accents. The grille on the front fender is red, and i want to add some RED vinyl accents to the rear fenders.

I have plenty of 651 vinyl, and i am not sure how long that will last on it.

Otherwise would u recommend the 951 or the 1050 stuff?

I dont need alot, just a few feet.

Wrap the plastic in red 3M or Avery wrap and then lay out your accents with knifeless tape and lay the black out over the top in either wrap or just 951. You will want the flexibility of the wrap grade over 951 for the main body just judging by the complexity and depth in the plastic.

If you are just doing those in red it will be fine with 951. I was saying though if you wanted to match the truck you should wrap the pieces red and do those accents in black.

Those small accents, I would mask it off and use plasti-dip. adheres well to low-energy plastics and it's removable. Think of it almost as a type of "spray-on vinyl"
