Topper 61 Posted March 22, 2015 So, I was contacted and asked to make some race car numbers, white with a colored outline about 24''x10'' for each number... 3 sets. They would like a quote for them to install and me to install. I'm kind of lost here, using a pricing calculate at .10sq inch on vinyl I'm getting about $24 per number but since its layered in 2 colors would you make it $48 per number? Seems kind of high to me, I don't know, maybe a little help here?
PointOfExpression 53 Posted March 22, 2015 My price would be 19.74 each but I am in California where I have a lot of competition and have to stay competitive. that is not installed.
Topper 61 Posted March 22, 2015 Is that for a single color number, or 2 color? Also curious if its best to install these wet? Like a window? I've never really done the side of a car that big before.
Moody Blue 505 Posted March 23, 2015 I do a lot of two color graphics. Double the material cost...not retail....and add time charge for extra step of layering. I typically add $10-$15 for two color just depending.
PointOfExpression 53 Posted March 23, 2015 That is what my calculator is showing for both colors
knucklehead 530 Posted March 25, 2015 I would be 4 square feet x $5.00 x 6 sets = $120.00 non-installed. Little installations like that, usually get paid in beer, during the install.
