how to know what force and speed to cut decal vinyl on?

hello,i have a us cutter mh721 plotter and i installed new blade and when i cut it peels the corners up and wanna know what i did wrong? im using signblazer and the bladeoffset is 00mm and i have cutter at 80g and speed between 4 and 12..i dunno if it matters but i had installed new rep tip blade from package..thanks and god bless

thanks... i think i got it.. just is picking up the corners of stuff.. is that the speed or force problem

   Your welcome..Probably too much blade exposed  You set your blade depth like this 

 

To start with, you should set your blade depth correctly, by taking the blade holder out of the machine, and firmly cut across a piece of scrap vinyl, you will be cutting. You should only be cutting the vinyl and barely a mark on wax paper backing, Adjust blade to get there, Then put the blade holder back in machine, and use the force of the machine to get there, same results, only cutting the vinyl and barely a mark in wax paper backing.

thank u... i will give that a try.. but my next question is how to tell when it needs more force or not

That answer goes right along with setting the blade depth  It should ONLY be cutting the vinyl and barely a mark on the wax paper backing..You adjust the force til you get this .  Do test cuts.  There are no speed and force settings, set in stone,  Even the same model can be different..You have to practice and learn your machine.  But I cut small text and fine detail  slower.
