MZ SKEETER 4,709 Posted March 1, 2015 Your welcome..Probably too much blade exposed You set your blade depth like this To start with, you should set your blade depth correctly, by taking the blade holder out of the machine, and firmly cut across a piece of scrap vinyl, you will be cutting. You should only be cutting the vinyl and barely a mark on wax paper backing, Adjust blade to get there, Then put the blade holder back in machine, and use the force of the machine to get there, same results, only cutting the vinyl and barely a mark in wax paper backing.
tiny9381 0 Posted March 1, 2015 thank u... i will give that a try.. but my next question is how to tell when it needs more force or not
MZ SKEETER 4,709 Posted March 1, 2015 thank u... i will give that a try.. but my next question is how to tell when it needs more force or not That answer goes right along with setting the blade depth It should ONLY be cutting the vinyl and barely a mark on the wax paper backing..You adjust the force til you get this . Do test cuts. There are no speed and force settings, set in stone, Even the same model can be different..You have to practice and learn your machine. But I cut small text and fine detail slower. FROM above'' You should only be cutting the vinyl and barely a mark on wax paper backing, Adjust blade to get there, Then put the blade holder back in machine, and use the force of the machine to get there, same results, only cutting the vinyl and barely a mark in wax paper backing.
