dwp99 283 Posted March 1, 2015 Doing a Google search for starbase.dll there are numerous sites that say it's a malware virus. Other sites say it's a missing or corrupt starbase.dll file. Starbase.dll is defined as, a common Windows file which is responsible for loading and processing the settings of related application or Windows function. So I guess when you click on a file that has no program associated to it this Starbase dll should aid in opening it in the proper program. But I usually get a window that opens asking me to choose a program to open the file in. I don't know if this helps or not. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
