SCAL4P shutting down when doing union

Anyone else having this? What I did was add a center seam to a traced image of baseball seams. I created a line with new nodes then thickened the lines. When I preview the cuts, the new lines arent there as cut lines. They remain red and solid. I thought maybe I needed to "weld" them, but as soon as I hit union I get this:

 

 

I called CraftEdge, waiting response.

If I remember correctly, you can only union 2 items, so try and group the 2 red lines as one and then make sure that the stiches are grouped as well then use union and see what happens. At least I think that's how it is in SCALP 3.

You can union as many as you want. I updated to latest version and it seemed to fix it. CraftEdge actually responded this time, but via email.
