Write counter clockwise

Can anyone tell me how to write counter clockwise? I am trying to write at the bottom of an oval and it keeps writing normal even if I choose :

arrange, path direction, counter clockwise.

Are you using Path Text Tool or Arc Text Tool?

 

To do this I found that I have to use Arc Text Tool.  You can turn the circle into an oval later.  When you are writing on a Circle and you are starting on the top of the Circle you are writing clockwise.  If you keep writing the letters will continue to move around the circle so that they are upside down.

 

Try this with the curser on the top of the of circle hit the enter key and the curser will jump to the bottom of the circle then you can start typing and the letters will be right side up and the be written in a counter clockwise direction.
