dudesanddivas 0 Posted February 20, 2015 Does this have to do with roller tension? Just got machine today. Trying to figure it all out.

slice&dice 2,450 Posted February 21, 2015 Make sure the pinch rollers (spring-loaded pressure rollers) are sitting directly above the lower grit rollers. There is a gap right in the middle of the grit rollers (marked with a sticker on the front of the carriage rail) -- make sure you don't place a spring roller in that spot. Also, since you have the SC machine, see these postings describing a flaw in the engineering of that unit - http://forum.uscutter.com/index.php?/topic/41547-need-help-with-newly-bought-sc-series/?p=323057 and http://forum.uscutter.com/index.php?/topic/36439-liyu-sc-gets-up-and-running-my-1st-impressions/?p=283267
