I am thinking about buying this version just to do my simple designs I'm not a professional looking for something better than inkscape. i was using illustrator but that's to expensive for me , my trial it's over.. would you recommend this version? OWJones 1,981 Posted February 5, 2015 I'm still on X6, haven't found a sufficient reason to upgrade - again. Corel got my money for 2 versions of Xara, plus CorelDraw 3, 4, 5, 6, X3, X5 and now X6... The biggest drawback to reduced versions of big apps like this is that they don't support a lot of the add-ons that are available - for example, if you ever decide you want to get into rhinestone designs, you'll find that the CorelDraw macros and plug-ins available for doing rhinestones don't usually work with Home & Student versions.
