My suggestion is keep the chrome outside and do a single dark colored gradient for the inner circle and make the text chrome to match the outer circle. This will make the logo "pop" and clear to your customers. Even electronically the logo may be hard to see....everybody's computer and eyes are different. May look great and flashy on your machine but on someone else's may be dull and dark and not very legible. Maybe add some shadowing under the text too for a little depth.
